Kindwell was founded by Alex Moss and Leigh McDonald in 2020.

Our Story
Alex has spent nearly fifteen years working in Health and Social Care. This includes running a specialist end-of-life care agency in London, where he met Leigh. Before this he worked in marketing for a startup and studied Broadcasting and Content Creation.
Leigh has over 20 years’ experience in care, both in the UK and New Zealand. He was influential in expanding the live-in care services of the UK’s largest care franchise network. Leigh is also the Director of an introductory live-in care agency, based in Petersfield, Hampshire. Find out more about that here.
We know that live-in care can offer an unrivalled care experience and wide ranging benefits for those receiving care, as well as families. However, at a certain stage of life, many people still believe that residential care is the only option and it largely remains the default choice. We wanted to help change that.
Since 2020, we have been supporting care providers to grow their business and offer responsive and personalised live-in care services. In 2022 we launched our own training platform to raise the standard in online learning, and contribute to a highly skilled and valued care workforce.
